What’s With Celery Juice?
So I have recently been drinking celery juice every morning, just a few stalks of celery and half of an apple and I can’t say it tastes amazing, but the benefits definitely outweigh the earthy taste and here's why —
Celery is rich in antioxidants and has many anti-inflammatory properties. With ingredients like Apirgenin, Luteolin, and Ferulic Acid, celery is full of powerful antioxidants that help reduce inflammation and prevent skin damage.
Celery Juice is also hydrating as celery is composed of 95% water so whether you are eating it or drinking its juice, celery is great for overall hydration.
The versatile vegetable also helps flush out toxins. In fact, celery is a natural diuretic and aids the liver in flushing out toxins which can also help relieve bloating.
Celery Juice contains a lot of amazing nutrients as well like Apigenin, Luteolin, Ferulic Acid, and Vitamin K. These potent antioxidants and vitamins help to soothe and protect your body while also nourishing it. For example, Vitamin K is actually the vitamin your body needs to help with blood clotting, healing wounds, and building strong bones.
Overall, celery and its juice are packed with benefits and vital nutrients so I see why people love it, including myself. I’m not sure if this will be a holy grail of mine forever, but I definitely enjoy the benefits and changes I have seen in my body since starting my celery juice journey.
